Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited’s superiority in technology and electronic banking was once again endorsed at the 5th edition of the Ghana Telecoms Awards 2015, where for the second time running, the bank was adjudged “Technology Advanced Bank of the Year”.
It would be recalled that at the 4th edition of the Ghana Telecoms Awards 2014 ceremony, GTBank was named as the “Technology Advanced Bank of the Year”.
Aside the endorsement of GTBank’s superiority in the above category for the second time, the bank also won the “eBanking Service of the Year” award category during the 5th edition of the same Awards ceremony, which took place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra last weekend.
In the two award categories won, GTBank emerged winner over other nominees such as Zenith Bank, Stanbic, Access Bank, ADB, GCB and Fidelity Bank.
Commenting on this feat, General Manager, Operations and Technology, Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited, Mr. Daniel Attah, who led the bank’s delegation to receive the Awards attributed these Awards to GTBank’s strong knowledge of the local market and its leverage on technology in the delivery of superior customer satisfaction.
“We therefore welcome these Awards proudly as they continue to reassure us that our quest to constantly deliver alternative e-banking solutions to meet the needs of our discerning customers has been beneficial and well appreciated”, he stated.
He added further that this recognition is a testament to GTBank’s commitment, focus and consistency in delivering exceptional performance in the area of e-banking.
Mr. Attah used the occasion to dedicate the awards to all customers for the confidence reposed in GTBank and their continual patronage of the bank’s services.
